Hope for Refugees
Twice a month, we distribute food and essential resources to a refugee camp community in Athens, providing not only physical aid but also hope and compassion.
Recently, we organized a 35-kilometer (roughly 22-mile) awareness and support-raising walk from one of the larger refugee camps outside the Athens city center to the city center. This journey was a testament to the resilience and strength of the refugees we serve, and a way to bring their stories to the forefront.
This project is a partnership with Helpers.org.au, an Australian nonprofit dedicated to serving those in need. Together, we aim to bring light and love to refugees who have endured unimaginable loss.
Update and photos from Malakasa Camp
Over 5000 people are packed into the small refugee camp with minimal supplies. The desire is to help more families who need food, Christmas gifts, and winter supplies. The biggest prayer request is for these dear ones to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.
