With a beginning in 2017, only the plans would unfold in the Lord’s timing.

About Us and How We Began.

Begin it.

Dreams and desires for education and a space to have the freedom to grow and discover were heard through the stories shared through the research project Kim conducted. Destruction and devastation were told over and over by young people traveling through challenging circumstances to arrive at the shores of Greece in search of some kind of hope. Policies and procedures for a new beginning brought the reality of hopeful restarts to an understanding of more challenges ahead for weary sojourners.

Build it.

In 2019, the development began by collaborating with people and orchestrating events. God began to weave relationships that crossed all boundaries of borders and cultures. A pandemic came into the picture, and the development continued despite challenge after challenge. Relationships grew.

Grow it.

In 2021, we landed in a small apartment that felt like home close to a local square in Athens, Victoria Square. The depth of relationships remained, and a collaboration formed to see hope shared in this community by all people. Hope is often a conversation, a class, art supplies, a safe space to have tea, a meal, groceries, help with medical issues, education, exercise, or expressive restoration. The sustaining hope is Jesus, our Savior, our Rescuer.
